The Marriage Preparation Course by Nicky and Sila Lee
This marriage preparation course is a series of five sessions on DVD designed to help engaged couples develop strong foundations for a lasting marriage.
This DVD set is to be used with the Leader’s Guide and a Manual booklet for each participating couple.
In the Leader’s Guide you find everything you need to run the course. It tells you,
- The aim of the course
- The participants- although the course is based on Christian principles it is also suitable for those with no Christian faith or church background
- The design of the course
- The set-up of the room
- The structure of an evening
The aim of the Marriage Preparation course is to provide engaged couples with the tools to build a healthy marriage that will last a lifetime.
The course takes place over five(5) evenings and is best run over five weeks.
Each evening consists of a meal followed by short talks , interspersed with exercises and questions for each couple to discuss.
The course is divided in five sessions :
Session 1. Communication
Session 2. Commitment
Session 3. Resolving conflict
Session 4. Keeping love alive
Session 5. Shared goals and values
