MISSION

The Lord Jesus Christ gave the clear command to His church to proclaim His gospel to all nations.

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20

This is not the place for us to extensively explain and defend the sound Biblical foundations of the evangelising task of the Church. Let it suffice for us to point to the world-wide scope of the love of God in Jesus Christ by referring you to that well known text in John 3:16,

For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

On behalf of a group of cooperating and supporting churches the Free Reformed Church of Armadale, Western Australia is the sending church for the work of Mission in the Papua New Guinea city of Lae and its surrounding districts.

These pages have been compiled to provide information about the organisation, the history, and the progress of the work in Lae. It is our intention to regularly review the information so that the readers are kept up to date with what is happening in this part of Christ’s Kingdom work.
