GENERAL INFORMATION

 

Several Free Reformed churches in Australia have agreed to join together to effect the Mission effort in Lae, Papua New Guinea.

They are:

           

Free Reformed Church of Armadale, Western Australia

Free Reformed Church of Byford, Western Australia

           Free Reformed Church of Darling Downs, Western Australia

Free Reformed Church of West Albany, Western Australia

Apart from these cooperating churches the following churches financially support the work:

           Free Reformed Church of Bunbury, Western Australia

           Free Reformed Church of Busselton, Western Australia

Free Reformed Church of Launceston, Tasmania

           Free Reformed Church of Legana, Tasmania

Free Reformed Church of Southern River, Western Australia

 

The Free Reformed Church of Armadale, Western Australia was appointed the sending church which calls and appoints workers and generally takes care of the day to day affairs of the work. All major/directional decisions are made at meetings of Cooperating churches (see further under Organisation)

 

To assist the sending church in this often time consuming task the Consistory has the help of a Mission Board, consisting of members of all cooperating churches.
